Design Goals: Connection, Ease, and Timelessness
We focused on three key spaces: the kitchen, the main bathroom, and the central living zone connecting them. Margaret wanted visual flow and harmony between these high-traffic areas, so we leaned into a soft, neutral palette and classic materials that would stand the test of time.
Transformation Highlights
Kitchen Refresh: Crisp white cabinetry was brought to life with bold brass hardware and pendant lighting that sparkles but doesn’t shout. A custom range hood and elegant tile backsplash added sculptural detail, while warm wood floors grounded the entire look.
Living Room Cohesion: Built-ins and a fireplace received an elevated makeover, now anchoring the space with depth and texture. We incorporated layered accessories and a few bold organic forms (hello, that lion art!) to keep the palette grounded but dynamic.
Bathroom Upgrades: The bathrooms were reimagined with new tile, vanities, lighting, and accessories. One bath received a herringbone tile accent in the shower for subtle drama, while the other was adorned with light brass fixtures and natural textures for a serene, spa-like finish.
Throughout, we kept sight of Margaret’s goal: a home that feels quietly luxurious but entirely livable.
Every selection was made with purpose, from durable finishes to cleanable surfaces and aging-friendly fixtures.
