After 17 years of family life, holiday biker galas, and two growing boys, our Huntsville‑area clients felt their open‑concept home no longer reflected the way they live—or entertain—today.
Friday after Friday, Jackie would visit her favorite consignment shop, hoping the perfect sofa or accent chair might magically tie everything together. When the shop owner—who follows Design On A Dime Interiors on social media—suggested she call us, she took a leap of faith.
From our first walk‑through, we understood the brief: wow their guests, withstand spills, and feel timeless for years to come.

We began with detailed measurements (even rug lengths were captured on Jackie’s phone) and a lifestyle interview focused on game‑day gatherings and that legendary Thanksgiving rally. - Performance First
Every upholstery piece was sourced in high‑performance fabric—luxuriously soft yet ready for spills, stains, and rowdy celebrations. - Custom Comfort
At 6’ 7″, Jackie’s husband needed seating that fit. We designed custom sofas and a power‑recliner with extended depth and reinforced frames so friends of any height feel at home. - Light & Bright Palette
Soft neutral walls, 3000 K LED lighting, and tailored window treatments instantly made the spaces feel larger and airier.
